Trip Agenda (as was planned):
We
will leave Athens around 7:30
AM and take 441 North to
Commerce (45 min ride). We
will be meeting 5 more riders
there. We will then go
to Franklin NC and that’s
where the fun starts.
From the time we leave the
house, we should be at the Gap
within 3 hours. Once we
go through the Gap, we will
back track and do it again.
From there we will hit the
Cherohala Skyway. 5k
elevation. We will spend
the night in Tellico pains or
somewhere close to that.
On Sunday, we will take some
roads that have waterfalls and
then start making our way back
to Georgia. We will go
to Hiawassee then to Helen and
then back to Athens. All
these roads are great.
